The first-ever Stonyfield Blogger Barnstorming Tour!

Hey all you bloggers out there, Stonyfield is planning a fabulous summer road trip this June and you’re invited!

They’re gearing up for the first-ever Stonyfield Blogger Barnstorming Tour. The last weekend in June, three bloggers will get to  visit organic dairy farms that supply Stonyfield with organic milk.

This is more than a road trip. This is a chance for you to get some mud on your boots—and learn first-hand why organic really is good for you and the planet. You’ll meet farmers who are true caretakers of the land and their animals, men and women who work hard every day to produce food for your table and your family. Stonyfield always believed they’re our everyday heroes – and you’ll feel the same way once you meet and talk with them. All questions welcome!

One farmer you’ll meet is into dirt. Organic dirt. He knows healthier soil means healthier crops to feed his cows, animals that get sick less and produce more milk. You’ll meet a farm couple who’ve raised their daughter practically alongside their cows – for them, farming is truly a family affair.

In other words, you’ll get a close-up, behind-the-scenes look at today’s organic farms, and the people who live and work on them. They’re the folks who make the Stonyfield yogurts your family loves possible.

Of course, you’ll have some fun, too – and if you want to wake up at 4 to watch morning milking or plod around a pasture, you will surely get to experience them.

The last stop is Stonyfield’s Yogurt Works, in New Hampshire, where you’ll see what is done with all that wonderful organic milk—and how  the tasty Stonyfield yogurts that you have at home is crafted.

Stonyfield wants you to learn more about where your food comes from, and your readers will learn a lot, too. That’s why as a thank-you for blogging about your experience and sharing virtual ‘postcards from the road,’ Stonyfield will donate $5,000 to your favorite worthy cause!

It’s easy to enter – just visit www.stonyfield.com/barnstorming. Read the rules, send in your entry, and by early May you’ll know if you’re one of the 10 finalists. Then, it’s up to your blog readers and other Stonyfield fans to vote for their favorites. Final winners will be announced and packing their bags for the June 25-28 road trip.

Good luck!

Thus, when I received the inside scoop on Baskin-Robbins 31 Cent Scoop Night, I was ecstatic that I could share it with you guys.Cotton_Candy_Cone

Dunkin’ Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Community Foundation has partnered with the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) and is donating $100,000 to the organization to further support the firefighting community. The NFFF honors America’s fallen fire heroes and their families by developing and expanding programs to recognize fallen heroes and assist their families and co-workers. Area firefighters will be at local Baskin-Robbins stores teaching children and their families fire safety tips and enjoying ice cream with their community.
