Take ONE peek into our bathrooms and you will know that we are a family of Dove supporter. From the body wash to hair shampoo and conditioner, our whole household uses Dove because it’s gentle on our sensitive skin. I was very suprise when asked to review Dove’s New Body Wash With Nutrium Moisture. I mean, we’re pretty happy to stick with the current Dove Body Wash but surprisingly, Dove has come out with yet another new BREAKTHROUGH FORMULA? Could it possibly beat the one we’re using right now? Read on to find out…..
I received the Dove Body Wash With Nutrium Moisture collection which comes in three different formula. If you have sensitive and dry skin, you might want to try the Sensitive Skin Body Wash first as it is unscented. I am not a fan of body wash with strong fragrance so, this is a plus for me. I also noticed that it does not lather as much since this is a soap free product.
Next, I tried and tested the Gentle Exfoliating Body Wash. As compared to the Sensitive Skin Body Wash, this formula actually gave a wonderful luxurious lather. It is also infused with tiny exfoliating beads to gently buff off dead skins. If you’re running short of time in the shower but do not want to miss out on your exfoliation regime, this is like a two in one product that can definitely save your time.
Finally the Deep Moisture Body Wash was given a three days trial. I like that the smell is light and pleasant and after each wash, it left a nice fresh smell on my skin. This formula has a smooth creamy texture which worked well on my skin. I didn’t see any significant difference in my skin after the first usage. However, after three days of continuous usage, I was pleasantly surprised that there’s noticeable smoothness to my feet which are always very dry and flaky. Having said that, I personally feel that the regular step to apply moisturizer to my skin should not be skipped. Though these Nutrium Moisture Body Wash will help improve the smoothness of your skin, it is not meant to replace what our regular moisturizers can do for our skin.
Overall, my favourite is the Deep Moisture Body Wash, which I have alraedy added to my shopping list. All the three formulas are available at drug stores as well as local retail outlets like Target and Walgreens for about $9 per 12 oz. bottle.

Bakugan Battle Brawlers, it seems, are the current rage among tweens and teens here. These toys are actually action-figure warriors, that are tucked into spheres that pop open when they’re rolled onto a game card, where they gather points. My 9 year old has started a collection of Bakugan and so far, currently has 4 units of Bakugan balls and a couple of Gate and Ability cards. We made it a point to only reward him when he does well for his exams as these toys are certainly not cheap.
As a mom, I remain clueless on how the game is played but if you have some interest in finding out, here’s a link with some useful FAQs which might help. Amazingly, Spin Master’s Bakugan Battle Brawlers has been awarded the Toy Industry Association’s ‘Toy of the Year’ award for the second year in a row!
This fast-paced, energetic variation of Bingo is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser. Kids get a kick out of pulling the Zinger forward to reveal two mystery tiles and attempting to be the first to call out the tiles that match the images on their cards. The first player to fill his or her card wins! Ages 4 to 8. 2 to 8 players. 2 levels of play. 8 double-sided Zingo! cards and 72 picture tiles. 8 inches x 10.5 inches x 3.5 inches.
My son received this game during his recent birthday and we had a marvelous time playing it over and over again. This game focuses more on pictures and images, which meant they were easy for the younger kids to play. The Zingo cards have a 3 by 3 grid that shows pictures and words. Cards have a yellow side (the easier option) and a red side for the older kids. The zingo dispensor is extremely heavy duty and slides smooth. Players shout out to claim a piece, which is then placed over the appropriate square on the player’s card. There are also several different ways of playing.
My take : Though the game states that it is for ages 4 and up, I felt that it is simple enough that even 2 years old can play and yet equally suitable for middle-schoolers. Zingo is a great way to teach word recognition to younger children. An absolute fun for the whole family. I like that the game boards are thick and the Zingo pieces are made of sturdy plastic, which meant they are more durable. It’s also easy to take along on road trips. Highly recommended!
In 1938, the March of Dimes asked Americans to donate just ten cents to polio research. It was a resounding success. Sixty years later, Stand Up To Cancer is asking for just five dollars, with the aim of getting 10,000 five-dollar donations in a month.
Remember, we make not be able to make a huge difference alone but IF WE JOIN FORCES TOGETHER, WE CAN! Your $5 could be the crucial donation that finally makes it possible to end cancer.
